If you forgot to set your Tivo, you might have missed the teenage Taisir when he was a regular on a Jordanian TV comedy called "Welcome" (loose translation). The half-hour comedy ran daily following the local news. In this first one he reminds us of a young John Travolta from Welcome Back Kotter. Here are a couple more and we'll add links to others if we find them.

If you missed them back in February (video), you'll have another chance to be entertained by a troupe (flock? squadron? team?) of belly dancers, August 22, from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. With permission, we'll stream the event live for those who cannot be here.
Zoner Greg Perry points us to NYTimes.com: "Probably the most important effects of caffeine are its ability to enhance mood and mental and physical performance. At consumption levels up to 200 milligrams (the amount in about 16 ounces of ordinary brewed coffee), consumers report an improved sense of well-being, happiness, energy, alertness and sociability, Roland Griffiths of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine reported, although higher amounts sometimes cause anxiety and stomach upset."
The full article is worth a read. A nice summary of several studies on the affects of coffee on your health.

Our boy Taisir is getting more and more tech-savvy. He's is now recording his own videos and posting links to his twitter page.
Taisir is having the cup-holder installed later today. And how do you keep your head from exploding while rocketing down the highway, running on pure Rocket Fuel? [Photo]
